ADEW Speech
Following the completion of a major project, working with 10 Local Authorities on collaboration, Andrew Crossley was asked to speak at the Association of Directors of Education in Wales Conference in Cardiff on 18th November 2010.
The talk covered the challenges of multi-agency collaboration, the founding blocks of people, infrastructure and most importantly a sound partnering culture to deliver the relevant Collaboration Premium.
He also presented the proposed 3 years collaboration strategy map, that was designed with the Balanced Scorecard system to enable the collective Authorities to achieve their collaboation goals by 2014.
The project was completed in 6 months and the project team was drawn from alliance partners: Actica, ServQ, University of Leeds and UWIC in Cardiff as well as specialist Associates in property, assets, catering, and networks.
The new chair of ADEW Dr Brett Pugh from Newport City Council was one the the project’s main client sponsors. Dr Pugh was kind enough to thank the ServQ Alliance for all its hard work in completing the project in an ‘extremely complex and challenging environment’.
